What does "DAC" mean in the context of CDR?

Direct Air Capture (DAC): Chemical process by which carbon dioxide (CO2) is captured from the ambient air. When paired with carbon storage strategies, sometimes referred to as direct air carbon capture and storage (see DACCS), or used in products (see CCU).
