  • Ebb Carbon has launched its marine carbon removal pilot project on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula in the city of Port Angeles.

  • The startup uses an electrochemical process to create seawater that is chemically more basic than acidic.

  • The basic or alkaline water can capture carbon from the ocean and safely store it.
